AJAF is committed to improving legal procedural efficiency involves implementing policies that facilitate identifying and challenging unfair, inaccessible and inefficient legal procedures. We facilitate the adoption of technology and innovation in delivering justice – including alternatives to traditional justice processes.
We acknowledge that daily survival/sustenance is a challenge for the average Nigerian. This challenge is worsened by incarceration. Nigeria correctional centres (prisons) are saturated with inmates who have spent months and years in incarceration without their case tried even once because they cannot afford to hire the services of legal practitioners.
